A short drive from us and mountain bikers will find the forests of Gwydir for the original Marin trail, and the close by Penmanchno loops. Slightly further afield are the some of the best trail centres in the UK, Llandegla and Coed-y-Brenin. Or take to the fast downhills of Antur Stiniog near Blaenau Ffestiniog

Road cycling from Bryn Llys offers something for everyone, short scenic rides, quick loops on spectacular roads, full days out taking in the best North Wales has to offer.
Leisurely
Welsh cycling isn’t all mountain biking and roads, we also have hundreds of miles of wonderful traffic-free routes many on disused, gentle-gradient railway lines and quiet country lanes. Many of the routes connect with local towns, historic attractions, allowing you to combine your bike ride with a Welsh sightseeing experience. Our local cycle track passes close to our front gate and can take you along the scenic Lon Las Ogwen to either Bangor or Capel Curig via the beautiful Nant Ffrancon and Ogwen Valley
We are always on hand to help you get the most from your cycling in North Wales. As well as a wealth of advice we can provide secure storage for your pride and joy. We can also provide a bike stand and tools should the need arise and we are only a short distance from Bangor and Llanberis where there are great local bike shops and bike hire options.
